I started #SampleSaleMusic as a vehicle to express how influential jazz and blues are on modern music — globally. It has been fun to reimagine jazz classic; revisit forgotten b-sides; construct new songs, that remind of other eras and/or push the genres forward; and, rock originals that are now samples for new gems and hits.
Miles + Coltrane is new idea that will reimagine, revisits, construct and show some of today’s great music find their origins with Miles + Coltrane. But, we will also bring other foundational icons to the mic and music — Oscar Brown, Bill Henderson + Ray Brown.
