IDEA: The Color of Blues brings together friends who love great music and believe in the legacy of jazz and blues. Our singers & musicians are not content with mimicking earlier eras. The three committed to being inspired by the past while adding their own secret sauces.

The Color of Blues is a concert that weaves through ages using songs as highlights and observations of our story in America. Our story as a Diaspora:

Lead singing
Background singing
Playing instruments
Rocking as a band
Rocking the crowd
Beautiful solos
Giving context
Showing clips
Asking questions and
inviting the audience to share their experiences
And… Maybe their voices and vibes!

The Color Of Blues will execute a 60, 90 or 120 minute show, with a passion & energy. It is a band with singers, ready to deliver hot jazz to gospel to soul to electric blues to nu jazz.

Of course we think tracks 2, 5 and 9 are the best!
